Lisa Temple

Born in Pensacola, Florida as the brat of a Navy Pilot, Lisa Temple made Meridian her home in 1989  after moving from her family's farm in Oloh near Hattiesburg, MS. She has been strongly involved in our community as a member of the Meridian Little Theatre Guild, MLT Board of Directors and Meridian Museum of Art.  Lisa was first seen as "Maggie the Cat" in Meridian Little Theatre's production of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".  Since, she has starred in other MLT productions such as "Blanche" in "Street Car Named Desire" and "Whose Wives are they Anyway?" with our very own Van Mac.  Lisa has also enjoyed acting at the Meridian Museum of Art's Mystery Dinner Theatre in "Without a Hitch" and "Murderous Crossings" with David Miller of "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes".

Recently, Lisa acted alongside New York Director and actors in "Tony and Tina's Wedding" at the MSU Riley Center.  Lisa has filmed many commercials and starred in TNN's "Quail on the Rise". She has studied with Jimmy Pigford, MLT Director and through his efforts making MLT the largest in the state and in proportion to the city, one of the largest in the South...as well as being famous for his Hollywood days of acting and celebrity affiliations.

Lisa has also had training under Tom Lester (Eb on Green Acres), Elliott Street (Winds of War, The Legend of Bagger Vance and many others) and Gene Bua "Acting for Life" in Burbank, California (acting coach for Brad Pitt, Ted Danson, Drew Barrymore and many others). Along with the acting and entertaining she loves, Lisa is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  Most of all, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, husband Ladd, son Stephen and daughters Belle, Jade and Ember.
